Description

From a long line of distinguished championship alpacas, PBR Apache's Spirit in the Sky is precisely the female that her name details. A stunningly gorgeous female physically with a spirit to match brings a lot to a breeding program. The ability to combine Apache Gentlemen, Windspun WSA Patriotic Gentlemen, and Candlelight's Cookies and Cream on the top of the pedigree is outrageous not to forget Polaris is on the bottom. If high quality appaloosa/harlequins are part of your breeding program, you cannot afford to miss out.

PBR Apache's Spirit in the Sky's sire, Apache Gentlemen's pedigree is packed (on both sides) with outstanding appaloosas and harlequins. His sire, Windspun WSA Patriotic Gentleman, is an appaloosa as well. He's a blue ribbon winning male that sports a beautiful fleece and strong confirmation. Patriotic Gentleman's sire is the multi-champion Hobby Horse Farm Great Expecations making his grandsire the well-known SA Peruvian Black Epic. Apache's dam, Excelsior's High Voltage Tazer, has an equally impressive background. She's the harlequin daughter of two very well-known appaloosas - NWA/Hearsum Paulo and Cookies and Cream.

Bright Water Ranch's Espresso, Spirit's dam, was a lovely Bay Black female. She was the daughter of VF Yahoo too and BMR Sienna, daughter of Polaris, a very successful male in the alpaca industry. Espresso had a beautiful bright fleece with excellent crimp, and she displayed an excellent phenotype. Her bloodlines included recognizable names such as Peruvian Hemingway, Polaris, Peruvian Felix and Snowmass Snowmaster's Shiraz and she, herself, was in the top 25% for crimp. She proved that she was capable of producing the ever-so-rare Calico Harlequin/Appaloosa in her first offspring, Rare Gem Whole Latte Love. We lost her in the spring of 2020 to unknown causes.
