Description

Patagonia's Florencia

Florencia has a beautiful fleece that is fine, crimpy and very soft. Her dam, Alegre has produced a number of very finely fleeced greys; seven of her nine offspring have been female. Florencia's sire, Guacho is a true black Neruda son.

Florencia had a MSG female, sired by our multi-generational silver, NS Magic Flight on 11/30/2014.

Magic's sire is none other than Snowmass Enlightenment, star of Snowmass Alpacas' entire gray genetic program. His dam is Champion producer, Almost Paradise Farms Beatriz.

Magic Flight recently won Reserve Color Champion at the International Alpaca Odyssey in 2014. He also received the Show Color Champion Fleece at the 2013 A.B.R. Fall Festival and earlier that year, received the Reserve Color Champion Fleece at the 2013 AOBA Nationals in a highly competitive group of greys. His score had tied with the CC and the tie-breaker was only a single point! Judge Kristin Buhrmann said, "Very competitive male...He has fineness, a beautiful, soft handle, and I liked his conformation."

When folks walked by Magic’s juvie fleece in our display at Nationals it literally stopped them in their tracks! "It is stunning. SO silver. Absolutely luminous. Long locks. I can't wait to spin it up!" .... And check out his fiber stats. They've barely budged between his yearling and two-year old samples.

Magic Flight's Micron Count

2013: MFD 20.2, SD 3.6, CV 17.6, 1.0% >30
