Colusa Riverside Alpaca Ranch is proud to offer alpacas with some of the most outstanding Fleece traits and Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) for all fiber traits. Our herdsires are in the top 1% - 15% across the majority of their fleeces. We have been working hard over the past 10 years to selectively breed and purchase alpacas to achieve the level of EPDs we can now offer our customers. Our stock's EPDs will predict fiber trait outcomes in your offspring. Slow but steady progress is occurring here at Colusa Riverside in the goal to produce the best fiber in the industry and every animals potential to pass that fiber character on to each and every offspring. When you buy you will know if the animal has improved fiber trait longevity, not just what their fiber looked like as a juvenile or yearling.
