You will be able to interact with a number of alpacas in a variety of colors, including several only a few months old. A large variety of Alpaca Fiber Products from Opus Two Alpacas and Fairwinds Alpacas will be available. Plus Alpaca Fleece, and Alpaca Yarn, from Ahh…Sweet Alpacas own herd will also be available. You will be amazed at the softness of the Alpaca Clothing and Alpaca Yarn. Spinning Demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the day. You can watch and ask questions, as several very experienced spinners spin the alpaca fleece into yarn. Then see the finished products that are all made from Alpaca Fleece. But most importantly you will get to meet, feed and actually get your hands on the Alpacas and their luxurious fleece!

Alpacas are one of the most fascinating animals that you could possibly imagine. They come in 22 Natural Colors, and their sweet gentle dispositions, not to mention their curiosity, will capture your heart. Alpacas were first domesticated 5,000 years ago by the Inca Indians of Peru and became the center of the Inca Culture. The alpaca fiber is lighter, warmer, and softer than wool, and contains no lanolin! Now you can come and see these incredible animals for yourself.
