Dancing Elk's Isabella1st place winner - bright black Dancing Elk's IsabellaHuacayaFemaleTrue Black AOA# DOB: 9/1/20167 yrs We didn't know in summer of 2017 when we picked up two girls from Dancing Elk alpacas that we would be back again so soon. When we saw firsthand how they are cared for, recognize the integrity and discernment made in a breeding program, we literally said we want to buy more but needed to sell some first (Imagine that concept) Fortunately it worked out. We just love Isabella's maternal grandmother and we feel so very fortunate this girl was available.
Isabella, as beautiful as her name - Beautiful black out of silver grey parents. Information off of Dancing Elk's site her sire, Argenta Granite passes on consistent crimp and long staple length to his multiple, award-winning offspring.

Freedom's Full Throttle Freedom's Full ThrottleDark Silver Grey AOA# 32377781 Born by our fabulous fleeced herdsire 4-Sight's Crawford, not only "proving" him, but that he will throw grey! Especially pleased considering his dam is fawn/vicuna type markings with mostly white heritage - no grey in her pedigree. His dam is so beautiful and has absolutely one of my favorite faces! Admittedly I adore both of the boys that she has given birth to. Full Throttle looks to have good head/face coverage evident that we like in his maternal half-brother so well. Full throttle is quite curious, playful and talkative. His markings and personality make him too darn cute!

Kisu's Kingsleyawesome producer Kisu's KingsleySuriFemaleWhite AOA# DOB: 9/25/20194 yrs We were ecstatic to finally get a girl from our best producing dam that had given us 3 boys in a row. We thought that if this girl turns out anything like her full older brother, we are already beyond thankful. Super strong and sturdy at birth. Shiny silky fleece. We kept her in full fleece to show and covid happened. She showed at Nationals in Nebraska and received a 6th place in the Full Fleece Suri Light Female Yearling Never Shorn. We were not discouraged, with her genetics we suspected she will be a fantastic producer. She has proven this very true. Her first cria is on our show string and her next one looks like it may be one of the top on the ranch.

Kalino is a beautiful outcome of 2 amazing parents.
His sire is Futurity Champion Sierra Bonita's Maccoyo Maximum-. Max is a son of the amazing DDF MacGyver, a prepotent male who changed the colored suri industry to the good forever. Just like we talk about Accoyo traits, we now talk about MacGyver traits. Most suri breeders have him in their lines somewhere, so prolific a breeder he was. MacGyver is a Hall of Fame for sure. And Max is no disappointment. Max is also the grandson of Bruxo, one of the original Accoyo suri males imported to the US, and also MacGyver's...

Pebbles on the BeachBeautiful markings Pebbles on the BeachSuriFemaleWhite, Medium Brown AOA# DOB: 7/20/20203 yrs We think that Pebbles on the Beach is as adorable as they come. We had bred our 2x Champion "Kiss of the King" to one of our top SHIP scoring females, Sandy Beach Surprise. While we were certainly not anticipating a pattern to be produced, we were overjoyed when she arrived. She has extremely lovely looking fleece and is sturdy and strong just like you love them. She was one of those that did not go to shows due to covid but is certainly a stand-out in the pasture.
We decided to breed Pebbles on the Beach to our silver grey Worthy Journey to see what may show up in the color realm. Coming from silver grey and dark rose grey, surprisingly enough she birthed a solid, looks to be "light" ...

Platinum's Victoria of SNRGone but not forgotten Platinum's Victoria of SNRSuriFemaleMedium Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 9/18/20149 yrs This girl was an extraordinarily nice medium silver grey. She had nice density and set herself above with great luster! Her color referred to as shiny sterling or platinum by those that saw her. Even though her tips are white, she produced a beautiful medium silver grey yarn.
Victoria's sire, Platinum Marquis was an astounding grey producer. Her dam also has some nice genetics to her name - Bet on Black by Prince Greystone.
We had acquired her just before spring show season and after showing her at the California Classic, we decided not to transport her for anymore shows that year and let her do a little more growing. Needless to say she grew up very nicely and I soon was referr...

WI The Admiral WI The AdmiralMedium Fawn AOA# 35326212 WI The Admiral is a stunning ambassador for his famous daddy, Lazy G'S Accoyo Goldstar . He is tall and well-built, with a robust and dense fleece that still measures 19 microns at age 4. His golden fleece sparkles in the pasture, and his calm nature makes him a pleasure to work with.
Admiral had 4 First Place ribbons as a juvenile and went on to do well as a yearling and 2 year old. His mama, Stonebrook's Midnight Lockdown, is jet black, and we're betting on his ability to throw black (although I don't think we'll be disappointed with any fawn crias, either!).
His full brother is MMALP Goldstar's VADER, owned by Linda Kondris at Pines Edge Suris. Vader has several black offspring. Summer of 2019 will bring Admiral's first crias on the ground. We have bred him to our black and brown females, and we can't wait to see them!
The Admiral's breeding book is open in Oklahoma. It's getting harder and harder to find a Goldstar son with an open breeding schedule, so here is your chance. He breeds well, and rarely requires more than one breeding to achieve pregnancy.
We have been fortunate to co-own Admiral with Michael and Sherry Alpert of Awesome Acres Pacas & Pyrs. Admiral is currently at their farm in Oklahoma. Alpacas at Windy Hill is offering our half of Admiral's ownership for sale. Please contact us today.
Call or email to schedule your breeding or inquire about purchasing a 1/2 share of ownership today.

A tragedy struck soon after her arrival with a beautiful baby she was carrying so honestly it pained me to see her for awhile. Time marches on and she is a real standout girl with incredible eyes and her coloring is interesting, likely best described as a light rose grey. Any way something about her, she just has the sweetest expression and we were so excited to receive this girl.
Her prior owner says she is known to pass the color on of her sire. However, we bred her to the extremely dense, uniform fleeced, Romeo's Raise the Roof. He is a bay black beauty from silver and rose grey parents.

He is not only one of the densest alpaca we have seen but has beautiful super shiny locks and a face that is too darn cute. All of that and some amazing genetics behind him. Given he is a Goldstar son we can not tell you how excited we were to land this color of a female by him. When Lilac gave birth to Lanai she started licking her all over, it was such a special birth to witness.
2020 an odd year to say the last, so we kind of went with a name imagining ourselves having a nice "wine on the lanai" overl...

GLR ArmaniStunning Rose Grey Suri GLR ArmaniSuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn, Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey ARI# AOA# 32138368 DOB: 11/6/201013 yrs GLR Armani came from the Great Lakes Ranch breeding program. So, it was no shock that he took 3 reserve championships of which were Futurity and the National Alpaca Show. While, Armani originally was registered as fawn color, soon afterward his unique coloring appeared that still makes hearts pitter-patter. He has a regal presence, high luster, nice bone, an amazing freckled face - all with a gentle confidence. There aren't too many full Peruvian grays in the world, and Armani is ROSE gray--a shade of taupe that swirls and stripes his body like a water color painting. He puts a whole new spin on "unusual".
While Armani won numerous awards, we think even better yet, he has numerous award-...

Bolero Giacca by CrawfordUniquely marked - a bolero jacket Bolero Giacca by CrawfordHuacayaFemale (bred)Dark Silver Grey, True Black AOA# DOB: 7/8/20194 yrs This girl came out looked so dark grey you didn't initially notice her black front in a bolero jacket type pattern with her medium to silver grey body until she was dry. She looked so sleek & elegant. We couldn't quite settle on a name. That black Bolero jacket pattern helped us decide on the name "Bolero Giacca" Italian for bolero jacket. "Gia" for short, which the name means God is gracious. She was a spunky and fun little one that loved to run. As an adult she looks like she gives you "the eye" which is almost comical.
Her dam, Dancing Elk's Isabella is one of our favorites, beautiful and full of personality and her sire, 4-Sight's Crawford, simply Ahhmazing fine, silver grey fleece...

We had recently sold quite a few of our males and had a little bit of seller's remorse, when we saw a post regarding some of Granite Bay beauties being available. Before other life circumstances could delay, we acquired him, sight-unseen. Well, we did have fleece shots and knew the reputation of care and lineage so we weren't worried one bit about what would be on the end of the lead when we received him. We couldn't wait to meet him at the show. One of our favorite esteemed judges was the fleece judge and she took a ...

Heaven Touching Earth by Oliver TwistSired by Sir Oliver Twist of WAP Heaven Touching Earth by Oliver TwistSuriFemale (bred)Medium Fawn AOA# DOB: 8/12/20194 yrs One of our most anticipated births. This was one of those pairings that it wasn't going to make a difference on gender, you plan on it being a keeper. I fell for this girl's sire, long before his first Judge's choice award and before he was old enough to breed lol. Sir Oliver Twist of WAP has magnificent conformation & fleece attributes and a stellar show career...
When breeding time came, we didn't have too many "open" females to send. We felt a breeding to Oliver could possibly bring more density and uniformity to her offspring. I truly couldn't help myself given Oliver's dam is dark silver grey.
Despite Satin having birthed silver grey before, this beautiful golden girl arr...

B Canyon Alpacas La Luna De Fresafull of color ! B Canyon Alpacas La Luna De FresaHuacayaFemale (bred)Medium Silver Grey, Dark Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 6/10/20176 yrs This girl may be one of my favorite looking alpacas yet. Say what you want about breeding for color uniformity until you see all the colors on this one... Just gorgeous markings and coloring different greys with big maroon spots. She was aptly named, La Luna De Fresa (strawberry moon) since we already have a Luna we have re-named her similar sounding to Leilani, heavenly lei... Her sire was silver grey but her dam was more that vicunua type looking dark fawn with white underbelly yet parts of her were so dark they are that maroon/bay black color. We posted a picture of her grand-dam so you get the idea.
Leilani bred multiple times and finally on 4th of July, she fairly effortless birth...

Paola Paca Wayja Paola Paca WayjaSuriFemale (bred)White AOA# DOB: 8/10/20167 yrs This robust female is in the top 10% EPDs in fleece categories of fineness and uniformity. Her sire took a 3rd place at CABA. He was sired by Accoyo Kaden. Her dam took a 1st place at Alpaca Festival of Oregon.
At Wayja's prior ranch she had some type of accident that she lost a big part of one of her ears - it thankfully doesn't seem to affect her, other than cosmetic.
Wayja birthed a nice fawn female named Willow for Alpacas At Windy Hill and that daughter just gave birth to one of the beefiest, fleece covered boys we have laid eyes on. Wayja bred to our 2x Champion Kiss of the King and had a female cria that is looking really nice. Honestly adorable and something in her sta...

VNF Dolcebrokered for villa ni fiori VNF DolceHuacayaFemale (bred)Medium Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 6/9/20203 yrs Dolce was born to a True black dam sired by the fine fleeced 4-Sight's Crawford. When she came out her sire's lovely silver grey color we were all ecstatic. She has grown up to a nice size and produces a lot of lovely fleece.
She was recently bred to Romeo's Raise the Roof who comes from both dark silver grey and rose grey parents. That male is extremely dense, uniform with nice fineness in his dark color with a remarkable note of a perfect score in lacking guard hair!
The owner is hoping to sell off their herd. This girl is worth considering to add to a herd especially if you love this color.

Romeo's Raise the RoofSALE PENDING ! Romeo's Raise the RoofHuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Dark Rose Grey, Bay Black ARI# AOA# 36023523 DOB: 9/9/20203 yrs This guy's dam is one of the cutest alpacas around. Not once, but twice with different males, she has birthed babies loaded with fleece and we mean really loaded, besides absolutely adorable ! We loved this guys older sister and thought about a repeat breed but decided to go for a bigger sized guy. Zurich, his dam is dark silver grey, with great fleece coverage but she is petite or height challenged, so we chose tall, dark and handsome Dancing Elk's Romeo. We were not sure if this guys fleece would go rose grey but considering his color consistency scores we think he is bay black. With his coverage and wrinkled body, despite his small size at start, he looked like herdsire material to us e...

Juliet's Jubileegrey goodness Juliet's JubileeHuacayaFemaleMedium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey AOA# DOB: 8/7/20203 yrs Super sturdy and elegant grey girl. Birthed and up straight and to nursing in no time at all. The way we like them to be born.
When you have a nice robust female with dense fleece it allows you many options come breeding time. We decided to try for the color option of our preference "silver grey" by breeding to a nice fine and uniform-fleeced guy. 4-Sight's Crawford has amazing fleece and that is especially nice because of his deep grey genetics. Right out of the starting gate Juliet delivered this beautiful grey girl.
We couldn't be happier with Jubilee. While Crawford was our go-to guy for a few seasons and has some nice offspring to his credit, I think this one may be the one t...

Liv Like You R Lovedlovely young female Liv Like You R LovedHuacayaFemale (bred)Bay Black AOA# DOB: 6/8/20194 yrs Describing this girl's color to someone even with a color wheel - I'd say out of the wheelhouse. After shearing she reminded me of crushed velvet. She is likely a dark rose grey to bay black but has an orange hue - similar to her half-brother TWT Dizzy Gillepsi. She is a 4-Sight's Crawford daughter that we couldn't be happier about.
We named her after a song title, "Live like you're loved"... aka lovie - She is one of those girls when not pregnant she comes up for loving.
She birthed unassisted and her first baby was up nursing by 7:30 am. She was an absolutely awesome first time mom.
I decided to send her fleece in and added a little bright blue bamboo for a splash of color - did i...

Marquis' Lilac RoseStunning light silver Marquis' Lilac RoseSuriFemale (bred)Light Silver Grey AOA# DOB: 9/15/20176 yrs The lovely Lilac Rose - The prior owner of her dam had wanted to name her Grace when she was born, but we already had that name in our herd. So we went with a visual description of her fleece, the color hues of nearly pink purple tips - you had to see in person. Her mother "Mary" is a real doll and this girl was born curious and sweet as can be. We can hardly stand it she is so cute and personable!
Motherhood has just seemed to make Lilac even sweeter. She was one of the rare moms that licked her baby from head to toe upon delivery - a matter of fact she licked a few of us months following lol. Witnessing her birth was one of those extremely special moments. Besides textbook delivery...

VNF DrakkarStunning Rose Grey VNF DrakkarSuriHerdsire (Male)Medium Rose Grey ARI# AOA# 35450931 DOB: 6/10/20194 yrs Drakkar was exactly what was hoped for in the pairing. The Harlequin freckled-face and stunning exhibition of rose grey color with the swirls of fawn, brown & light highlights throughout his fleece.
His dam was a GLR Nico & Max daughter. His grandsire GLR Nico still one of the most sought-after herdsires. He won numerous Championships and top awards in Get of Sire, judges choice along with producing numerous championship offspring. Absolutely phenomenal in itself but even more some coming out of True Black! Drakkar's sire GLR Armani is also from GLR lineage. Armani has replicated himself a few times and this pairing brought the beautiful, rare color along with luster evident at birth....
