Shekinah's Alpacas

Shekinah's Alpacas has been in operation since 1997, beginning with two Huacaya females. The angelic name "Shekinah" was given to the first alpaca acquired and represents the "sweet connection to the divine".

Shekinah's Alpacas' has relocated to Southwest Colorado.

After 20+ years in the business, and family life changes over the years, it has been necessary to “scale down and resize” my farming operation.

I continue to enjoy every moment of the alpaca business from the day I started and have gained an incredible education in farming, livestock care, purchasing property, setting up the ranch and making many new friends. I stay involved with the alpaca community and will continue to care for the few “special cases”, as well as provide end products from harvesting their fleece.

My focus has always been on quality, selective breeding, quality care for my alpacas, no pressure sales and full support of the customer before, during and after the sale. If I don’t have the kind of alpaca stock you are looking for, I can recommend other alpaca breeders that might have what you need.
