Camelid Symposium

UC Davis Camelid Symposium

UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine

Saturday-Sunday, January 17-18, 2015

Sponsored by:  Calpaca
Hosted by:  UC Davis Camelid Medicine Club

This Symposium is Dedicated to the Memory of

Dr. Murray E. Fowler

1928-2014

On May 18, 2014, the camelid community and the entire veterinary profession lost a very special person. Dr. Murray Fowler was a pioneer in the study of camelids and development of camelid medicine. He applied that same passion to a phenomenal number of diverse species, learning and teaching others at every opportunity. His interests, energy and compassion knew no bounds. We will miss him.

October 1, 2014 Update:  We are finalizing details for our outstanding 2015 Symposium.  We are happy to announce that Dr. Jane Vaughan from Australia will be back this year.  We are also pleased to have both Dr. Tim Holt and Dr. Stacey Byers joining us from Colorado State University.  Look for the full list of speakers and course schedule later in October.  We hope to have registration open by late October.  We will once again offer online registration plus a webinar of the veterinarian track.

The UC Davis Camelid Symposium brings internationally recognized speakers to present 3 Tracks of seminars.
